Nail Porn: My New Chrome & Holographic Nails!

I’ve always loved having long nails; they’ve always grown strong and long for as long as I can remember. I actually gave up violin aged 9 after playing for just a year, because I was fed up of being told every week to cut my nails, and every week being told that the slither I had filed off wasn’t good enough and so I took up playing the flute instead. Even at that age, I knew my nails were more important to me than a violin. 😉

However, recently I’ve been going through a lot of stress and have noticed the toll it’s taking on them as they’ve been snapping quite low down, so for the first time in my life I’ve had to have them repaired with a few acrylic extensions. I took this opportunity to head to a new salon that I’d seen and been impressed with on Instagram because of the variety of nail colours and designs they showcased on there and these petrol-like, holographic nails are what I came out with, and I couldn’t be more pleased with them. Plus, I think Cobi, the nail technician there made the acrylic tips blend in perfectly with the shape of my natural nails, don’t you think? 😍

I also tried to get a video to show you how holographic they went under a direct light, but my cat wanted in on the action, and she's cute so why not. ;-)

Wordless Wednesday - Chloe!

I hope you're not getting bored of my Chloe photographs, I just can't help snappong away at her looking so bloody cute. Anyway, she loves sleeping - and finds many suitable beds around the house, this is probably one of her favourites, the back of the sofa. The final picture shows her just after waking up when I took the pics, I included it as I thought it looked quite funny, she's clearly still half asleep and confused haha.

Oh and apologies for my absense, and late posting of this - the schedule didn't work, and I've only just been able to get back online after my visit to London on Wednesday to sort it out.

Wordless Wednesday - Chloe Loves Cosmetics!

She's clearly not bothered, and goes back to sleep.

I couldn't help but think that my cat, has acquired my taste for luxury cosmetics after finding her lay on a pile of products I had lined up to photograph. She's too cute though, I couldn't move her - so she went back to sleep, and I waited for her to get off so I could do my photographs. She totally wears the trousers in our relationship.

I'm thinking that she could start doing some modelling for Chanel, Clarins, YSL or Selfridges with these pictures haha, what do you think?

Wordless Wednesday - Chloe the Cat!

At least somebody is chilled out in the run up to Christmas; it's a cats life, eh! On the other side of the coin, I am mega busy with organising Christmas, clearing out the house and trying to get all the blogging I want to done. Is anybody else the same? x

The Christmas Countdown Begins...

I can't believe it, it's actually December already(!), and that to me means that panic can now set in as Christmas is officially here (almost) and I need to get my skates on and get my gifts for people chosen, bought and then wrapped... the countdown is ON!

I'm sure many of you are also in the same predickydoodah* as me, especially if you also don't have a clue what to buy for your nearest and dearest. So with that in mind, I'll be doing a series of posts to try to help you pick some fabulous gifts for the special people in your life.

Another part of Christmas that I look forward to is partying and with that thought in mind, I'll also be showing you my favourite party season make-up, accessories and skincare to help get you through the festive season in style.

Wordless Wednesday - The Cat That Owns The Paw!

You saw the paw, now see the cat attached to it, the very beautiful and VERY cute, Chloe. I thought she definitely deserved her own full feature today after the few cameo's she's made on here so far. I'm thinking I might include her a little more on here in some of my swatches, she's very photogenic - more so than her owner anyway - that would be me; although not in the photograph with her, I hope that was already obvious though!

What do you think, should she be more involved with my pictures where possible?

Just a Paw Picture!

For various reasons, I haven't managed to get anything posted today, but I thought I'd just come on quickly and post a little picture that I thought was quite cute. It features a paw that belongs to my cat, Chloe, just after she'd turned over the Sky channel whilst she has having a cuddle with me (it was a race to get my camera and take the photo before she moved her paw completely) - I was quite impressed with her abilities, but less so with her choice of TV (some old western film... really?). I think paws are really cute, is that weird?

You'll notice the bright pink fluffy robe behind the paw - that's one of the few robes that I have to have on my knee when Chloe wants a cuddle as she LOVES it. Bless.
