Your OPI Heaven - New Colourcopia Store @ Westfields, London!

The new store, Colourcopia, in London's Westfield Centre is a polish lover's dream, stocking the full range of over 240 OPI shades (the only place in the UK to do so), and also the Nicole by OPI shades (including the new 'Kardashian Kolors')! If you fancy a nail treatment, you can also get one of those in there too - it basically appears to be a one stop shop for nails, bliss!

Part of me wishes I lived closer, but part of me (namely my bank balance) is a little bit glad that I don't as that would be *so* dangerous, since I have no self control where pretty colours and cosmetics are concerned!

Weirdly, I've never actually been to the Westfield shopping centre in any of my visits to London, but if I do ever make it there then there is no doubt in my mind that this place will be one of my first ports of call!

Will you be popping in?

Swatches: Nicole By OPI - Liquid Metals!

If you weren’t already aware of OPI’s little sister, Nicole then you should be as ‘she’ is proving to be a very popular addition to the family. Today I’ll be swatching ‘The Next CEO’ and ‘It Starts With Me’ from the Liquid Metals Collection, a collection that I’m very impressed with so far. They apply nicely (and evenly) with their fairly wide, flat brush and were also quite quick to dry too – always a good thing when you’re impatient, like I am!

The swatches show 2 coats (one thin-ish and one decent coat over the top) with no topcoat. Please excuse my poorly fingers and also the application, I decided not to buff beforehand so I could see how it fared with any little ridges because some metallics *really* emphasise them... I don’t think this has done too badly to be honest, and actually I think the camera highlights this more than you see in reality – what do you think?

‘The Next CEO’ (below) is a gorgeous champagne gold that whilst quite neutral in colour, still makes a statement with its stunning metallic sheen. I really love it.

I thought that ‘It Starts With Me’ (below) looked quite coppery on the stock picture (above), but actually it’s more like a rose gold – this doesn’t cause me a problem as it’s still a very lovely colour.

I believe they’re meant to be available now, but are not currently on the Boots.com website... I’ll try to find out what is happening with them for you, but I can say that they’ll be around the £7.95 mark when they are available.

Other colours available in the collection are:

Miss Independant: A metallic violet.

Rich in Spirit: A metallic blue-green.
