A good eyeliner can make a huge difference in how your eyes look, and in turn how your whole face look too, and these Quickliner Intense eyeliners from Clinique are great. They apply brilliantly, no dragging and no repeat swiping to get the colour to show - the swatches below show just one fairly light swipe across my skin (I did it this way as I wouldn't use a heavy hand around the eye area).
Once on, they stay put, even on the waterline so you don't have to worry about panda eyes mid-way through the night (if panda eyes came in different colours) and I found there was no reapplication needed either - win win.
The bottom swatch is the shade 'Intense Midnight' (if I remember correctly) a beautiful blue with just a hint of dazzle, and the top colour, I'm afraid I can't even partially remember the shade name, this is because I left some of my make-up that I had been wearing over Christmas at a relatives so I can't check it out at the moment, but I'll be sure to update once the post delivers it back to me. Anyway it's a gorgeous green with a sprinkly of sparkle that really enhances eyes, but can still be done in a subtle way if you're not a big fan of bold eyes.
Another plus point to these liners is that they come in twist up packaging, meaning no pencil sharpener is requiredonce you've worn it down - I much prefer my lining products to come like this as I can generally never find my pencil sharpener, and also you end up playing the risky game of sharpener roulette, 'will it sharpen or will it ruin your pencil?' - a game that quite frankly, I am rubbish at. I lose track of the amount of pencils I have in my drawer that I can't face trying to resharpen, or that have already fallen foul of my sharpening errors.
I really love these, and will definitely be repurchasing once I've used these up - they're a complete bargain at £13.50 each too, well worth every penny.
I am love, love LOVING Paris Hilton as a brunette. She's great as a blonde, but I think she looks even better, and more classy with the darker hue she's currently rocking, I also think her skintone looks better with it too. She reminds me of somebody here but I can't place my finger on who it is, any ideas guys? Totally chic... and I want her hat, glasses and coat too.
Agyness is beautiful, there's no denying that - but just look at her as a redhead, and with long hair too, she is on FIRE - hot hot hot!! I wish I looked half as good as her in this photograph, I have developed a massive girl-crush on her after seeing this and the photograph below, where she is rocking a more natural look but is still totally stunning, don't you think?
Clinique are again joining forces with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity for the 5th year running to raise money to fund research and into the causes and treatment of childhood cancer.

Yet more designs are being released by Kooky Nail Wraps for Valentines day this year and I thought I'd share the love (geddit) with all of you! I especially love Pink Passion, see below for a closer up picture:
These nail wraps are so easy to apply - especially as they are completely heatless, taking out what I see as a bit of a faffy step with normal nail wraps, and they last for a decent amount of time too. I only took mine off when my nails had grown too much and in turn had left a big gap between the wrap and my cuticle - the design was still absolutely perfect.
We all want to have gorgeous skin, don't we? I know I am constantly striving to perfect my skin and slow down the aging process in any way I can, using various lotions and potions, having botox injections and then applying make-up to disguise imperfections that other treatments don't get rid of... and I bet I'm not the only one, am I?
Salon treatments such as facials can help a little, and treatments like glycolic peels and laser skin rejeuvenation are even better but can be expensive and they're not always practical to get to if you're always busy and don't have the time to make and stick to regular appointments, so what's a girl to do?
Apparently, a potential solution could be the Philips ReAura, an at home fraxel laser skin rejeuvenation system that claims to encourage visible improvements in your skin's appearance, 'reducing fine lines, while helping to restore skin tone, texture and radiance; it also promotes a visible reduction in age and sun spots' - sounds good, doesn't it?!
And what's more is that not only can you use this on your face (forehead, eyes, cheeks and mouth) but also on your body too (neck, chest, arms and hands) and let's face it, hands and necks are always a dead giveaway of somebodies age, no matter what they've done to/how much they have looked after their face. Remember these Madonna photographs? She looks amazing, but her hands totally give away her age.
It's not pretty is it?! I'd be mighty miffed if I'd gone to any amount of effort to keep my face looking its best only to have my hands ruin the illusion of youth... this is why I am so chuffed to have been given the chance to try out the ReAura for myself.
I've been very interested in these kinds of treatments, especially after my foray into having Botox that has been working out quite spectacularly so this is quite a treat, and one I'll be sharing with you as I go.
When I start my trial, I'll be using this a couple of times per week and updating maybe weekly to fortnightly, depending on if there's anything new to report in my skin condition. Using it so frequently may seem like quite a lot of usage, but this laser is a bit weaker than salon machines, and this just means that you use it a bit more regularly to get the same results in a safe way, and I expect it won't be such a shock to your skin doing it this way too - so less recovery time needed.
The machine itself does appear to cost quite a lot as an initial outlay (available for £799 exclusively at Space NK), but when you consider the cost of salon laser skin rejeuvenation it's not quite so startling - especially if you still get great results, but in a more convenient way - and without having to even leave your home or work appointments into your schedule too.
Before I leave you, you'll notice that you can't just go ahead and buy the machine on the Space NK website, this is because you need to have a little consultation pre-purchase to make sure that the machine will be safe for you to use. This is to prevent injuries and complications arising from things such as medications that make you sensitive to light and such like. I think this is a very responsible way to do things, and whilst it will take you a few more minutes to purchase (should you wish to), could benefit you greatly in the long run.

You may have noticed a lack of post from me yesterday (then again, you may not lol), I had aimed to get something up but I had the most bizarre day that basically came about because I started a Facebook page to try to save the fantastic programme, Something for the Weekend. It's currently shown on BBC 2 on a Sunday morning, but due to BBC cuts (and not bad ratings) is due to be axed.
I love this programme, I watch it religiously and as a veggie it really appeals to me because it always has at least one vegetarian option available in the cookery slots; it also has great banter, fabulous guests, gadgets, cocktails and a chunk of football chat (also coming under banter) thrown in there for good measure.
Well, clearly a lot of people agree with me as over 22,000 people have 'liked' the page to support the cause, many of which have also taken the time out to make a complaint to the beeb. That's not even the bizarre bit any more though, the bizarre bit is that I also had 2 phone interviews yesterday, firstly by Radio Times online and then by a BBC journalist working for BBC Radio 5 Live... which then resulted in me having a short, yet scary LIVE on air radio interview too.
To say I was cacking myself would be a huge understatement, I struggled to even remember to breathe for most of the conversation and was sure I'd mucked it up, but if you fancy listening, a friend of mine recorded it and sent it to me so I thought I'd upload it.
