FashionistA Eyeshadow - Shade 39, Bronze!

Another beautiful eyeshadow from the FashionistA range here today, this time is's a gorgeous coppery shade (with the shade name of Bronze?!). Just look...

The pigmentation in this one is good, but I did the same amount of swipage (ha) as I did with my FashionistA Brunette Bombshell shadow and it does appear to be a little less pigmented, but not to a degree where I'd advise against buying, because as you can see, it still shows up brilliantly on the skin.
Daylight, no flash.

Application is good, the shadow is easily blended and there was less fall out when using this shade than there was with Brunette Bombshell (unless I missed it as it is lighter), yet it still maintains a shimmery finish that I absolutely adore, and even without flash, it shimmers. Lovely.

These FashionistA shadows all retail at around the £4 mark and there appears to be offers on the range quite often, meaning that you can often purchase a number of shadows for a lesser cost, or you can buy the shadows and get a free palette etc. I bought mine when there was a 5 for the price of 3 offer on but I know there have been different offers available since the release of the range.

In all fairness though, they're not expensive shadows without an offer, and the quality for the price paid is exceptional. :-)

Celeb Sunday - Kim Kardashian!

Kim Kardashian has gone for the chop, well, her fringe has (unless it's a clip in thing). I have to say, I think it looks fab, really suits her and makes her eyes really stand out. I think she's stunning anyway but this just enhances that. What do you think guys?

I Trended on Twitter (in Manchester) AND I'm Number 6 on the Ebuzzing Beauty Blog Chart!

I'm just a little excited that I was trending on Twitter last night (in Manchester)... it's such an insignificant thing in reality, but it gave me a nice surprise to have it happen anyway. :-)

I also noticed that I was at number 6 on the Ebuzzing Beauty Blog list (formerly Wikio) for January. Again, fairly insignificant within the 'bigger picture' of life, but it's the highest I've been on there and I am chuffed to blinkin' bits. :-)

FashionistA Eyeshadow - Shade 24, Brunette Bombshell!

I recently purchased a bunch of FashionistA eyeshadows after becoming intrigued by the brand and their magnetic nail polishes (will post about these soon)... I say a bunch, but iwas actually about 26(!) of them, which shows just how extensive their range is, as this wasn't even the whole collection!!

I'll be reviewing/swatching them individually as it's easier for me that way, especially where the photographs are concerned as some of the shades I have chosen are *fairly* similar and there's a possibility they would get muddled up if I was to photograph them in large quantities.

Brunette Bombshell is a rich, chocolaty brown that has a metallic sheen to it that looks ever so slightly different whenever a different light catches it. I absolutely love the colour, it's neutral without being boring and I am a complete sucker for glitz, shimmer and all things that shine.

The shadow has quite a soft, almost buttery texture to it and it blends beautifully... although there is a little fallout when applying it (you can see it a little on the swatches), nothing too major though and certainly not enough make it unusable.

Paul & Joe Spring 2012 Collection!

With Christmas and New Year all done and dusted, it seems right (yet very wrong all at the same time) to crack on with upcoming spring collections, no?! This beautiful looking collection from Paul & Joe is right up my street, and that of any other cat lovers' (obsessives) too, I expect. The fantastic feline products are fun, look great and come in an assortment of fab colours too - have a look!

The standout product in the collection to me are the Blusher Sticks (£21 each), I mean come on... they're shaped like cats(!!), of course they stand out. Although actually, I could probably never bring myself to use them for that very reason, but what the hell, they're great! They come in shades: Glamour Puss (soft beige), Minou (pastel pink) and Cat Fight (energetic tangerine).
Matte Pressed Powder
I might also find it difficult to break into the Matte Pressed Powder (£28) and Face and Eye Colour CS (£19.50 each) too because of their lovely little cat prints. Am I the only one who would find it difficult to 'break' these, is it weird (haha)?

Face and Eye Colour CS shades are: Siamese, Please (neutral bronzes and beiges), Kittycat (matte nude and pearly pink) and Purr-fect (smoky, yet subtle ivory and moss).

I am loving the look of the lipsticks (£16 each) that come in 3 shades; Sex Kitten (sexy beige), Meow! (natural pink), and Catwalk (healthy orange) - the final 2 being the shades that are calling to me. I also love the little paw prints in the lipstick, it's little touches like this that make Paul & Joe really stand out for me.

Three nail polish shades are included in the collection (£10 each), and whilst colourwise they all seem to be quite generic shades that don't really stand out to be as being special, they are still lovely and worth buying if you don't already own that kind of shade - and the bottle is gorgeous, as ever with P&J. I could still be surprised by these in real life, as from the stock images I can't really see if they have any shimmer or anything different about them. Shades available are: Tigress (nude beige), Kitten Claws (elegant pink) and Mainkineko (flirty pink).

Finally, also included in the collection is a waterproof gel eyeliner (£16), purrfect for creating cat eyes, and comes with its own little brush which looks great.

So, what do you think of the collection m'dears, do you likey or not? x

Wordless Wednesday - Kylie Minogue!

Well, it looks like after brief dalliance with brunette hair, Kylie has gone back to blonde. As much as I like her with blonde hair, I think it's a bit of a shame that she didn't keep the darker hair longer as I thought it really suited her, and made her look even younger to boot. What do you think?

P.S - I'm loving her bouncy curls. Well jel. x

Happy New Year!

I just wanted to say Happy New Year to you all, I hope you had a fantastic night last night. I had a fabulous time with my family, drinking lots and playing on my new karaoke machine (which was a LOT of fun) before finally heading off to bed at about 7am!

What did you get up to? x

I've just noticed that this didn't post earlier - therefore, apologies for the late posting. x
